Good morning all,

This morning at 6am at training at Surfers Beach Danny Pointing a member of our under 14 age group rescued a swimmer who had been taken out in a rip. Cassandra Sedgman spotted the swimmer in trouble out the back and Danny paddled his board out and brought him to shore. The swimmer was taken to hospital. This is what we train for and thanks to Danny’s calm actions he averted a certain tragedy.
