The Club was first established in 1925 to attract tourists to the area by providing a safe beach for swimmers. Surfers Paradise owes its progress and status - and the safety of its visitors - to earlier generations of benefactors who had a vision.

 Inside Queensland wanted to find a great Surf Life Saving subject to coincide with The 2008 Channel Nine Surf Safe Appeal. Finley Taylor was an amazing choice as this young and much awarded young surf lifesaver has so far made achievements that are all remarkable.

 There will be smiles all around this Sunday when Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club welcomes the kids from Camp Quality to their beach for a day of sand, surf and fun!
To finish up their week on the Gold Coast, Camp Quality will be joining the Soul by Juniper Surfers Paradise Nippers to learn surf skills and enjoy beach activities. |
